Welcome to the official home of the San Francisco Nanowrimo Writers.
This is not an officially sanctioned Nanowrimo site. This site is hosted and sponsored by San Francisco Municipal Liaison Rob ("Gallifreyan") who is responsible for its content unless otherwise specified.
If you wrote any of your Nanowrimo novel in the city and county of San Francisco, you are welcome to join us. New SF writers are welcome too. Outside of the fall noveling season, we meet twice a month, second Tuesday of the month at the Brickhouse Cafe on Brannan St, and (usually) third Sunday of the month at Royal Ground on 17th Ave and Geary. See the sfnanos web forum below for details and actual dates/times (registration recommended).

The retreat information site is now at Andromedary.org and is updated with historical details from 2006 and Spring 2007, and future plans for 2007-2008. We have a spring retreat in May and a fall retreat in November. If you are interested, check it out and contact your friendly neighborhood retreat coordinator (Gallifreyan/Rob) with questions, comments, and suggestions.[2007-06-10]
